A variety of reads to fill a mind with life adventures and experiences
Option B is a helpful short read about grief experiences and navigating the world of life after a loss. The authors did a great job of providing emotion and humor intertwined when trying to take small steps to deal with every day life after a person has died. It was interesting to hear of others stories and experiences and what helped in a moment of sadness. Also, to understand and learn to be more empathetic to another person’s way of dealing with loss came through in the book.
Accessing the Healing Power of the Vagus Nerve is a deep informative read with exercise photos of how to correct posture and musculoskeletal form to heal oneself of any type of ailment. The author did a wonderful job of providing an informative read with his years of research and practice into helping people with debilitating physical and mental conditions. Initially, I borrowed the book from the library and I intend to purchase the book because it is something I will return to for my own personal use. I highly recommend this book for understanding how the human body is designed to be functioning through correct posture and exercises.
The Pursuit of Perfect helps to understand failure and success and learning to teach our children how to embrace failure and not feel the negative connotations that surround failure. It is a great read for anyone learning that stress around the practice of perfection is undue stress because perfection does not actually exist. This is a most helpful read for everyone and should be incorporated into young adult education courses.
The Last Butterflies is chock full of the author’s research and results of observing and documenting butterfly habitats. The history that goes into the author’s information is so helpful to understanding that even a small patch of unimproved property can sustain a small population of butterfly species and that changing of the plant species within a small patch of property can dramatically make a difference to a butterfly specie habitat, but also enhance and sustain a small specie population. Additional information on species that have gone extinct is important to realize as Mother Earth endures climate change and how each individual human being can learn to be mindful of their own individual footprints and how to balance each footprint with nature.
The Moment of Lift was such an informative and at times, difficult read with heart wrenching stories by the author. She reveals very personal chapters of her own struggles in life and how to make the reader aware and mindful about women struggles in all areas of the world and how to make this world a better place for all. This is truly a wonderful book to help people of all groups and I highly recommend this book for young adult education courses.
I hope you enjoy the short summaries and pick up one of the books for a great read.
